Production on Maze Runner 3 to Move Forward

The film is set to open in 2018.

O’Brien’s injuries on the Vancouver set were deemed “more severe than initially expected,” including a concussion and facial fracture.

Reports indicate that O’Brien was injured in a vehicle-related accident on the set of The Maze Runner: The Death Cure.

Crew schedules have now been reset, and production will start again at a new location. Wes Ball is still directing, with a script by T.S. Nowlin. The Maze Runner: The Death Cure is the third installment of the popular film franchise.
