HBO Announces Premiere Date for Westworld

Get ready to question your reality this October.

Westworld will make its HBO debut on Sunday, October 2nd at 9pm.

Casey Bloys, HBO’s president of programming, announced the premiere date today at the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour.

Westworld is written and executive produced by Jonathan Nolan (Person of Interest, The Dark Knight) and Lisa Joy (Pushing Daisies, Burn Notice), and provides a fresh take on Michael Crichton’s 1973 film Westworld.

HBO’s new drama features an all-star cast comprised of Anthony Hopkins, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Shannon Woodward, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Ben Barnes, Clifton Collins Jr. and Ed Harris. In addition to Westworld, the premiere dates for both Divorce and Insecure were announced. Divorce will debut on Sunday, October 9th at 10pm and will be followed by the Insecure premiere at 10:30pm.
