The Celtics will reportedly receive a future draft pick from the Grizzlies, while Memphis gets Mario Hezonja and the draft rights to Desmond Bane – the No. 30 pick in Wednesday’s draft.

In 58 appearances for the Celtics last season, the 6-foot-10 Turkish big man averaged 8.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, mostly coming off the bench. Kanter, 28, previously played with Portland during the 2018-19 season after the trade deadline.

The 25-year-old Hezonja has struggled to find his footing in the league since his No. 5 overall selection by the Orlando Magic in 2015. A 6-foot-8 forward, the Croatian national put up 4.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 16.4 minutes of action in Portland last year.

A four-year player at TCU, Bane averaged 16.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.5 steals per game for the Horned Frogs in 2019-20, earning an All-Big 12 selection for his performance.
