Agents Of Shield: Marvel’s Most Wanted

ABC and Marvel Television have released more information about Mockingbird spinoff Marvel’s Most Wanted. Posted to Deadline as part of ABC’s 2016 pilot lineup, Marvel’s Most Wanted focuses on Bobbi Morse—Mockingbird—and Lance Hunter, who you may recognize from Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.

Morse and Hunter are “ex-spies and ex-spouses,” and on the run from a “long list of enemies looking to claim a bounty on their heads.” They’ve got no friends and no SHIELD to protect them — they’ve only got each other. Along their journey, they’ll start an “uneasy alliance” with Dominic Fortune, who’s described as “a rogue adventurer with a wealth of resources and even more adversaries.”

He’ll help them along the way “so long as they help [Fortune] with his own agenda.” According to the logline, Morse and Hunter “will help anyone in need, all while trying to uncover the conspiracy that put their own lives in jeopardy.”

When the pilot was announced at the 2016 Television Critics Association winter press tour, ABC president Paul Lee spoke fondly of Marvel’s Most Wanted, confirming they’re “absolutely doing that [show.]” He seemed confident in its potential success, noting that the network executives “love the script.”

Adrianne Palicki will play Bobbi Morse, with Nick Blood as Lance Hunter. Delroy Lindo is signed on as Dominic Fortune. Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD’s Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski are in charge of the script, with Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory executive producing.
